Jeppesen Marine Announces New Update of C-Map by Jeppesen Cartography

Jeppesen Marine introduces yet another update of its worldwide cartography this year! Having updated its cartography in March and June, Jeppesen Marine offers an even further updated version of its C-Map charts this October.

With new editions of officially produced nautical charts and all of the Notices to Marines included issued by national hydrographic offices from across the world, our cartography is the most up-to-date and high-quality product on the market maximizing safety at sea through minimizing the risk of not having full situational awareness as you navigate.

The new, updated version concerns each and every chart of both NT+ and MAX technology for which new official paper charts and Notices to Mariners have been published. The updated version will be, as per usual, available on cartridges and CDs.

Aside from adding the new editions of officially produced nautical charts, Notices to Mariners and port plans, etc., Jeppesen Marine has expanded the process of updating its cartography by adding new high resolution photographs, port information, etc. All of this Value Added Data makes our cartography an invaluable navigational instrument.

For the sake of its customers’ safety at sea, Jeppesen Marine encourages all to update their charts on an annual basis, preferably just before the boating season starts.  The marine environment is of a dynamic nature and a great number of changes and new information must be added to our cartography via these updates, currently at a rate of three times per year.
